GANG OF FOUR

I think I'm still in disbelief that we're a family of four. I keep staring at these photos to remind myself. These photos allow me to see if from the outside in rather than the inside out. I think Travis is in denial too. Mostly because he starts this conversation every other day:


"This is still so crazy." 

And I say "What?" 

And then he says "This."

And I say "What?"

And then he says "That we have two kids."

And I say "Oh. Yeah. Crazy."


And we go back to our individual sleepy worlds until the next riveting conversation comes up.

I'm excited for the next stage. Once Dakota wakes up it'll seem like she's here more. She wont always be asleep on my chest. She'll interact and Luna can play with her more than just kissing her head. We won't be in denial of our family of four and we'll be straight up caught in the throws of parenting these two crazy, amazing, lovable girls.
