I was researching font inspiration on Etsy for something for Travis and came across some prints I could really get behind. Would love to have these artists' renditions on our walls:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

At the auction yesterday I went with my heart set on just one thing. I had only seen it the night before in the online listing and knew it was perfect for the new tattoo shop. After a stressful few seconds of a bidding frenzy it was mine and I immediately texted a pic of it to Travis.

 He loved it!

This is my second antique sign purchase at auction. The first being our english Coffee Shoppe sign that I got a few months back.

Its amazing to see how they used to make signs - everything is hand painted on solid wood panels. I love seeing the areas of wear and age and wondering where these signs hung and who saw them.

We've had a lazy late Sunday morning around the house so it's time to get a move on. We're off to lunch in town and then who knows...
